Interview
It was a quick 60 minute chat with a behavioural interview followed by a technical round related to research writing. The interviewer was warm and friendly. It was conducted online via Zoom and we worked collaboratively on a google doc to look at my writing and research process.
Email the professor, have a conversation. Then they will usually ask about your relevant classes and determine if you are a good fit. Usually strong interest will get the job.

Had a great interview but have not heard back, so wondering if this is common. I have been waiting to hear back now for 30 days. I really loved the location.
