I applied in-person. I interviewed at Dunhill Professional Search (Wilmington, NC) in June 2008
Interview
I met Chris and Rob in a social setting and mentioned that I may be looking to make a change. They asked me to come and speak with them at their office. The office is beautiful and professional- we sat in a conference room and they explained to me what they do and how they do it. They discussed my background and asked me a few sales related questions. I was then invited to sit in with a few guys in the office while they worked and asked them questions. A few days later they asked me to come work for them and I have been here ever since. It was a great decision and I knew exactly what I was getting into. I was able to hit the ground running and have never looked back.

Question 1
We discussed my chance of success at Dunhill and they explained that people leave the professional all the time, which was unnerving. But like any sales/consulting position- if given the proper tools, your work ethic generally determines your success.
