ECMD interview questions

Received a call after completing assessments,application as well several correspondences with Human Resources. The call was on a Monday, and was told that I would need to travel to a remote part of North Carolina (Two states/ 6 hours away) on that Friday to interview for the management position for which I applied . I made the necessary changes to my schedule, and confirmed my interview with Human Resources. I arrived early as I was unsure of traffic or any other issued that might have arisen during my travel. Upon entering the office I was greeted by the receptionist, who was very cordial, and informed me that it would be approximately 30 minutes before my interview would start. I was ushered to the back after about 30 minutes and placed on front of a computer by one of the HR representatives, I was told that I had to take another assessment, however I was told that the assessment would not have any bearing on my consideration for the position, yet it was a stipulation that the assessment was to be administered to all applicants. After the assessment I waited only about five minutes before I was joined by two gentlemen and later a lady. We had (what I assumed to be) a great interview which lasted about an hour. Once done I assured each of them of my comfort level as well as how I was impressed with their openness as well as their candor, and once again began my 6 hour journey home. I followed up the following week with an email, as well as a card expressing my gratitude as well as interest. I was told that a decision with regard to the position would be made that Friday, and I would be contacted........ This never happened, in addition I never received a reply to my email, nor voicemail and was not even shown the common courtesy of a "turndown letter". Obviously,this company has no regard nor respect for the efforts made by those who seek employment with their organization. I am truly disappointed in the actions of this organization as they are completely contradictory the image which they portray.
