You applied online somewhere, they may call you up and ask you to have an interview. And during the interview you will know whether they will hire you or not, then just agree on which day to start your work. The interview may be pretty short and easy, just a few questions.

Craigslist, or really just call and say you are interested in being a broker and you will be transferred to someone who will pick up. When they call you in just be humble and excited and must be personable as that is what the job entails and say of course you can live on nothing for 12 to 18 months and that will be it.
