      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ENSEK in Mar 2024

      Interview

I had a really mixed feeling about the interview and recruitment process. I had an initial hour interview with 2 senior members who gave me an option to proceed with 2 roles, both of which I received great feedback for. I chose the more Senior role to proceed and met the CTO who asked a number of competency questions and was told I got the job. I provided my personal details and was told a contract was on its way. But then 3 weeks later, radio silence so I contacted the contact I had who told me the CTO was worried about me working 4 days a week but not to worry because they were confident I was the right person for the role. 3 weeks after that after multiple chasing I was told they decided to interview and offer the role to someone else. Absolutely awful experience and when I asked about the other role, they had also closed that off. But it was enough to show the real culture here, one that doesn’t support work life balance so I see this as a lucky escape!
