      MT Interview

      1 Sept 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fayetteville, NC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ERAC (Fayetteville, NC)

      Interview

One of the most in-depth interview processes I've ever endured for a non professional position. 1 phone interviews, 3 in person interviews. Phone interview was only a few minutes and had basic questions (are you ok with the pay, long hours, etc). Next was a branch manager. After that, I had a double interview with the district manager and some other manager, as well as the branch tour.

      Question 1

EVERYTHING under the sun. Seriously. What will make you a great leader? Why enterprise? Tell me about a difficult customer. Tell me about a disagreement with your boss. Tell me about your biggest sale. Tell me your long and short term goals. Where do you see yourself in 3 years? Do you expect to be promoted? What do you know about enterprise? What are three words that describe you? Why would you make a good leader? Why should we hire you? Rate these things in order of importance: Money, Recognition, Work-life balance, responsibility. What are two action words that describe you? Are you okay washing cars in your suit? The only thing that annoyed me is that the big boss told me to think it over and call him on monday, saying the position is basically guaranteed if he gives the go ahead. So I called him back telling him I was ABSOLUTELY sure I wanted the position and then I STILL didn't get it! I understand if I wasn't qualified, but he absolutely led me on and essentially told me I had it in the bag. ALSO, they said they needed someone IMMEDIATELY and yet the process takes a month.
