Several senior managers took time to meet and talk with me, explaining their roles in the company and the company's business model. I appreciated their enthusiasm and learned a lot about the company during the interview process. I met with a few of the managers individually, and then a group of managers met with me all at once and talked about what they needed, how I might be able to help, and what some of the current challenges were.
