I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at EV Group (St. Florian am Inn, Upper Austria) in Oct 2021
Interview
The first interview was quite positive and I decided to take the chance to travel 500km to visit the fab and the environment after being accepted for the 2nd round (in Austria). I must admit I am grateful they proposed me to visit the company because otherwise I wouldn`t ever understood how things run there. First of all, the impression was that the manager I talked with during the 1st round never shared anything with the team I met there and so I found myself to repeat over and over who I was, my experience and education (because they asked). But the thing which really made me questioning the management was an exchange I had with a "manager" to whom I asked how you are evaluated and eventually promoted or not and the guy started to explain that, even though I had a PhD, there is a person there (without a PhD) who faced committee full of PhDs and could do better than people with PhD. Probably he had something against higher education? Another nice exchange I had with the hiring manager was about my CV where again I felt bullied while being apostrophized "smart guy" quietly chuckling. Afterwards, I did not hear anything from them for more than a month. Later on they rejected my candidature.

I applied through university. I interviewed at EV Group (Tempe, AZ) in Mar 2017

Applied at university career fair. Was called in for an on-campus interview that consisted of a short, basic engineering quiz and two separate interviews one after another. Was asked mainly behavioral questions and to elaborate on what was on my resume.
