Where do I start... this was the second job I was selected to begin an interview process for with this company. The first time I was invited for a face to face interview but never received the information or any feedback or response to emails. However, I decided to try again. The process began on April 2. I talked to the HR manager and she scheduled a face to face interview. She referenced the last time I was selected for an interview and was very excited. The actual interview was on May 23. I received travel arrangement information on May 22. I interviewed with three session. The first two sessions had 1 manager each. The last session had 2 employees that would be apart of the group that i was working with. I felt everything went really well as the interview was more of a conversation and discussions of my experiences. Two days after the interview I sent thank you emails in which no one responded. I sent an update email a week and half later and I was told they were reviewing all of the candidates. On June 11 I finally hear from the hiring manager who then tells me I was over qualified and said that he mentioned my experience to a different hiring manager in a different state. He said the manager would call me to discuss an interview and he offered to help me acquire interviews with other opportunities in the company how ever that hasn’t happened. I’m pretty sure homework could have read my resume and realized I was over qualified especially since he told me he was looking for someone out of college and clearly my resume says I have an eng degree and mba and 6 years of experience. I am disappointed in the way this company handles the interview process.
