I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Ebury (Brussels) in Sept 2020
Interview
Simple, very transparent, straight forward process. Clear outlook on job growth trajectory. Transparent salary scales. Commission scheme seems skewed. Overal good interview, I got an offer. Good atmosphere, young workforce, flat structure.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ebury (Auckland, Auckland) in Feb 2026
Interview
Began with standard interview questions but then quickly delved into the fact that they expect you to work overtime and put in as much effort as possible, as well as bringing up staff members who were let go for not working enough. Bit weird.
After this, it went into a short role play of a phone call, but the script they want you to follow doesn't match up incredibly well with the information provided. This needs a bit of streamlining.
Office was a little bit odd, there were no people of colour or women, only white men, but it was a small team.
Smooth and easy
Meetings with Heads of desks who gave insight on the role and what it entails
Very upfront about how to be promoted - and how the best people get promoted quick
First spoke to a recruiter, then Senior Sales members and then head of sales. It was relatively casual with no particularly difficult questions - they just wanted to see a desire to work in both fx and sales.
