      Marketing Interview

      12 Nov 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at EchoStar (Denver, CO) in Sept 2025

      Interview

Interview process was extremely long and this position was a mid-level position (5ish years experience) for Sling. Started the interview process in August and a decision was made in November Here are all the rounds: 1. Contacted by an Echostar recruiter on LinkedIn. Had an initial phone screening 2. On site interview with the hiring manager 3. Was given two tests to take. One was skills (math, patterns, word association) and the other was a personality test. 4. Virtual panel interview 5. Two more tests. One was another skills test. The other test was something a lawyer might do. Asking if assumptions are correct or founded. Very challenging 6. Interview with the director/skip manager. This was requested to be onsite 7. Onsite behavioral interview with someone not at all related to the position and onsite interview with the VP 8. References were requested and contacted Despite the many rounds, I was not officially given a rejection until 3 weeks after I submitted references. In that time frame, Echostar changed the position title and lowered salary band. Overall, the interviews themselves were straightforward. Many interviewers asked the same questions as others. The main recruiter was communicative which I appreciated. I also talked with several other recruiters and they did not seem to know what the whole interview process entailed. That led to me being told I was onto the last round when there was actually 1.5 hours more of on-site interviews. They are definitely looking for people who want to be challenged and thrive in a high stress environment. My advice to other people interviewing: - lean into their values and showcase them in your answers - Show you’re driven and wanting to learn and be challenged
