Interview
CV deep dive with 7 people including head of research. They expect you to give details on your modelling, feature construction and monetization / execution process. They are only looking to steal ideas, so I would strongly advise NOT to interview with this firm.
Focused very much on your research experience and experiences in handling large data set. They have their own infrastructure in dealing with tick level market data of stocks and futures.
Had a phone call with the VP and then called for an onsite day. They were generally friendly and I had lunch with their group. I answered all of their questions (leetcode, statistics, no brainteasers) and then was told a few weeks later that I didn't have the skills they wanted, even though I had industry experience at similar firms. The people were qualified but not really extraordinary, and had all been there a long time. They appear to post jobs for years and just interview lots of people without hiring anyone.
