The interviewer left me waiting for 30 mins in the non existent reception area. Once we got into a meeting room they left me in there for 15 mins whilst they went to go and talk to one of their colleagues. So the interview was 45 mins late. This was a really bad first impression and meant that I was going to be extremely late returning to work. I had made my mind up before the interview has even started that this was not the right place. After a 20 min brief chat with the hiring manager who was obviously not prepared for the interview I left. The role said that some travel would be required, fair enough. But after talking to the hiring manager it was explained that the role would be Africa based... put that in the job description then! A couple of days later I got an email from HR saying that they were not going to proceed further, no other feedback required. Complete waste of time.
