I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Edmentum (Remote, OR) in Jan 2018
Interview
Great. Asked to create sample items and then provide rationales. This was pretty simple and required you to think through the process. Glad that I gave it a shot and it worked out really well for me.

Interview
They sent me an e-mail and then there was a phone interview. I applied for the job thinking it was a typical contract gig as I am a freelancer. During the interview, I asked about the nature of the work (pay by project, by hour, time commitment, etc.) The interviewer said that it was full-time, set hours, etc, but that it was also contract. I asked how this made it a contract job since what was being described was an employee/employer relationship where the employer would need to pay payroll taxes. The interviewer had no discernible response. I'm pretty sure either the interviewer was unfamiliar with the law, or there was some real confusion on someone's part. A full-time permanent job with set hours cannot be a contract job. I said no thanks and that was that.

Interview
phone interview, followed by an in person interview and written test, the another final in person interview with the boss there as well. It was very formal and professional. They made me feel like i was the top candidate and then they hired a contractor for the full time position .
