The process took 2+ months and the recruiter provided extremely delayed and non-responsive communication. For example, it took 1+ month from hiring manager interview to hear that I was a finalist. Once I was a finalist, she promised to follow up within 2 days but she never responded, even after proactive follow up from my end. If they weren't serious about moving forward, a simple email or call letting me know would have been fine. The process came off as passive aggressive and unprofessional.

First interview with a recruiter who didn't seem to be listening, hearing, or even paying attention to what I was saying. This was followed by an interview with the hiring manager. And then, I got on the merry-go-round of hiring by committee. Every time I thought I'd concluded the interview process, another interview would be scheduled. I met with no less than one dozen people over the next eight weeks before meeting with the hiring manager again. The final verdict was delivered in a far-too-casual, slightly unprofessional, abrupt phone call. I have no idea why so many players were involved in the hiring decision, and to be honest, it didn't seem like some of the players knew themselves. The end result felt like an enormous waste of time for everyone involved. This candidate experience will forever be remembered as "what not to do" at my future employers.
