I applied online. I interviewed at Elementem (New York, NY) in June 2017
Interview
We had a phone interview followed by an in person interview. Interview questions were pretty standard: experience, hobbies outside of work, skills, past projects, that sort of thing.
I ended up doing a trial period at the company, but decided that it wasn't the right environment for me.

Question 1
What is something you've done in a work environment that has pushed you out of your comfort zone?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Elementem (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
The CEO of the company was emailing me himself, we set up a skype call, and he decided in not even 5 minutes that I'm not a right fit because I wanted to dedicate my free time to an another venture project that I pursue in just 10% of my FREE time and that is just not his expectation... I asked, how is that different from doing kayaking in my free time and he did not give a proper answer, he admitted that this is not quite fair but that's the way it is. Ridiculous.
The previous review on the founder with the Napoleon complex was totally right, I can confirm that. Sadly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Elementem (New York, NY) in July 2016
Interview
Was supposed to have a Skype interview, but they called me (10 minutes after we were scheduled to begin) to ask if we could do a phone interview instead. I was, of course, agreeable to that, but when we actually got on the phone, the interviewer was clearly distracted and unengaged from the outset. Not the best experience from there to say the least.
