I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Elevance Health (Denver, CO)
Interview
Anthem uses behavioral interviews. They use identical questions in each interview for the same position in order to reduce bias. Reducing bias in interviews is a priority for Anthem because they strive for equal opportunities, and they do a pretty good job of it. All applications are done on the website. If you already work for the company, you apply on the internal site. This is followed by a phone screening by a recruiter. Then there's a panel interview. There were four managers on my panel. With behavioral interviews, you want to tell a little story in three or four sentences to answer each question. All questions are about challenges in your past and how you handled them. First sentence describes the challenge. Second and maybe a third sentence describes what you did. Third and/or fourth sentence describes the result. The easier you make it for your interviewers to take notes, the more successful your interview will be.

Question 1
Anthem has certain core values, so a common question is to talk about something you did in the past that demonstrates one or more of the core values. Know the core values when you walk into any Anthem interview.
