I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Elevate K-12 in Sept 2020
Interview
The process is kind of long but none of the steps are difficult. There is an initial interview of 15 minutes, a mock teaching interview of 30 minutes, an online training of two hours, a tech check, and a virtual classroom training of 90 minutes. My start to finish time, including Labor Day weekend, will be about two weeks from the initial interview scheduling.

Question 1
What is your experience teaching in a virtual classroom?
I interviewed at Elevate K-12 (Springdale, AR) in June 2025
Interview
They reached out to me and asked me to interview. I was asked to prepare a lesson with slides and materials provided by them. The interviewer seemed unfriendly and unimpressed even before I started the lesson. She acted as if she was in a rush and seemed uncooperative to participate in the lesson I was presenting. Wasn't surprised I later received a rejection message.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Elevate K-12
Interview
I sent my application in and then completed a 30 minute interview. The interview included a demo lesson with slides provided by Elevate. The process was stress-free and simple. The only catch is there is no guarantee in classes, but I have been assigned two so far.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Elevate K-12 (Dayton, OH) in Dec 2024
Interview
Once you apply and more onto the interview process you are asked to do a lesson as part of the interview. You will be given slides to do a mock lesson with the interviewer as the students. It is overall a pleasant interview and they give feedback quickly.
