Interviewed with an internal recruiter here.
Interview went well, was ready for next steps but after a week of nothing I decided to e-mail the recruiter for an update, but the recruiter did not respond right away. Okay, no problem.
Fast forward another week and the internal recruiter starts responding to my e-mails asking about my availability to interview with the CSO. She e-mailed me at least 3-4 times over the course of the following week, but I never responded.
Truth is I was in the process of accepting a different offer - but the fact that this company felt they could ghost me for a week, only to respond when it's convenient for them to do so, was an immediate red flag and told me everything I needed to know about this opportunity. They don't respect my time, so I'm not going to respect theirs.
Do yourselves a favor - if a candidate takes the time to interview with you, don't ignore their e-mails requesting a simple update. "You'll be hearing from us next week" would have sufficed and I would have agree'd to interview with the CSO. But that didn't happen, and I accepted an offer with a company that decided to respect my time.
This isn't rocket science.
Best of luck with everything.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Elevate K-12 (Baltimore, MD) in June 2024
Interview
3 rounds of virtual interviews with multiple stakeholders in the Sales department; included a practical work based assignment for the final round. The assessment wasn’t difficult but did take time to complete because I wanted to do a good job.

Question 1
They asked how my previous work experience would add to the role I was applying for.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Elevate K-12 (Chicago, IL) in June 2024
Interview
I was initally called by the recruiter who asked general questions about my background and work history. The next step was a virtual video call with the sales team, and then had to do a practice cold call and email process.
Initial phone call with recruiter: 15 mins, basic interview questions; next was a 45 min zoom call with a current account executive - more basic interview questions. Recruiter wasn't the best to talk to, but the account executive was great.
