I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Elsevier (Thessaloníki, Western Macedonia) in Nov 2025
Interview
One HR call that lasted 10 mins. Two weeks later, the first technical interview, that lasted 1 hour. Specific questions about previous projects I have done, related to NLP. The interview had to do only with NLP. Many questions about how transformers work. The second interview was 1 hour and 15 mins. Almost all of it was about RAG and GenAI, like every possible step at the process, in depth. Overall, HR and managers, were really friendly and helpful. The offer came 3 weeks after the last interview.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How do transformers work? What is Multi-Head attention? What is positional encoding?
Several step process including a coding test, a deep dive technical interview, and several rounds with the team. The hiring manager was great but the HR representative was unhelpful. Overall process took a while but you got a great sense of the team through it.

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Elsevier (Amsterdam) in Dec 2022
Interview
The initial interview had two people and was way too long and hard. The interviewers asked way too many irrelevant questions and when I answered they would give alternatives to how i should have answered (technical)

Question 1
Very in depth about projects I have done. Would mention a specific technology and ask for all the details if i had done a project on it
