      13 Aug 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Ānand
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Emgage (Ānand) in July 2025

      Interview

The interview process had three stages: an aptitude test, a technical interview, and a final practical round at their Ahmedabad office. I got this opportunity through campus placement at my college ADIT.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

They asked questions on percentage, number series, Java, pattern printing, and 2–3 easy history questions (for example, “Mumbai is in Maharashtra, so Gujarat?” 50-60 student select after this round
      Answer question

      Question 2

They asked about: HashMap and finding vowels in my name ConcurrentHashMap and hash functions Difference between == and equals in OOP SQL joins and writing a query for the second highest value SQL query to change the column name in the SELECT output (e.g., SELECT id AS number)
      Answer question

      Question 3

In the final practical round at their Ahmedabad office, since my advanced Java knowledge was weak, I was offered a support role, so these tasks were for the support position. I was given four tasks: Make a computer start and run specific code automatically without manual startup. Inspect their website (using the password provided) and find errors, then export them into an Excel or Word file. Use Postman to fetch API data. Write 50 Linux commands. They allowed the use of ChatGPT or other tools, and the team, including the HR and CTO, was very friendly and supportive during the process.
