I interviewed at Encore Fire Protection (Middletown, CT)
Interview
I had an issue that I thought would prevent me from getting the position but both of the managers that spoke with me, including the man that set up the interview, were extremely understanding about and they didn’t have to be. They took a chance and I’m very grateful for that
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Encore Fire Protection in Apr 2026
Interview
Very slow process. The main recruiter didn’t send any emails during the process so I didn’t have a way of following up. I tried following up with the assistant. I was told a manager was on vacation and it took them a week and a half to reach out. At the conclusion of the interview the manager said he would tell the recruiter to set me up with interviews with 3 additional people. I never heard back and followed up a few days later. A week and a half later they sent me a rejection saying they filled the role with a candidate further in the process even though they said they were in the beginning stages of hiring for this role. Poor communication, slow and long process.

Interview
HR recruited me through LinkedIn. A phone interview and an in-person interview was conducted. After several weeks, I was told the company was not longer going forward with the position
