I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enjoy Technology (Salt Lake City, UT) in Sept 2019
Interview
Had the hiring manager call and conduct an unscheduled phone screen. I didn't want to seem rude so I took the call. I ask how her day is, and she says, "Oh it's been terrible, but that's ok." It felt really awkward after that comment. We get through the interview and then she invites me onsite to interview. I give her the time when I'd like to come in and she says that she will text me the info. I never got a text. She then texts 15 minutes after the interview was supposed to start, and asks if I got any information. I didn't. She reschedules the interview for the following week. I get an email the next day saying that they would be moving forward with other candidates. I thought it was a mistake, so I text the hiring manager. She has read receipts on and after reading my text it took three days to tell me that she was moving forward with other candidates. Overall very unprofessional.
Stage 1 was on the phone.
Stage 2 was on a zoom call.

Question 1
What was your biggest challenge during your last employment and how did you overcome it?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enjoy Technology in Aug 2019
Interview
Was sent an email saying they were impressed with my resume and wanted to schedule a phone screen which I did. Then five days before the phone screen I received an email saying they had filled the role internally, which is all fine and dandy but why post the job and why set up a phone screen? Pretty unprofessional if you ask me.
