I got the phone interview from a friend's referral, who had to inquire about a week after I applied if there was actually any interest in me. The day he asked I got an email setting up a phone interview. It started off basic with the girl just fact checking my resume, and then went right into a case study question. I'm not sure if I was actually qualified for the position or they were just pleasing my friend's referral (because I think they get bonuses depending on the referrals they give), but the case study question threw me for a loop and the interview ended shortly after.
