I met with a recruiter for a phone screen. The recruiter was very serious and started by asking me to explain if I understood Enstar's business model. I then scheduled to meet with the hiring manager about one week later. Unfortunately, I came down with the flu 24 hours before my interview with the hiring manager and requested a postponement. After that, I literally NEVER heard back from anyone at Enstar. I even spoke with an old colleague at the organization who knew the recruiter well. I sent several emails to the recruiter to follow up, but I was completely ghosted. Communication is a core tenet of professionalism, especially from those representing the company's brand to external talent.
