      Management Trainee Interview

      3 Jan 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility in Nov 2011

      Interview

I had thought about applying with the comapny about a year ago. I did some research online and read some very negative reviews and decided not to apply. Although I had already graduated years previous, I attended a job fair on a college campus. I met the area recruiter and handed him my resume, he told me to fill out the application online and to call him after I had submitted it . ( I was dressed in black suit pants with a long sleeved button down shirt, my resume was printed on high quality card stock paper) He called me a few days later and asked me what my impressions were about the company, why I thought I was a better candidate than others who were applying for the same position, and what is my sales philosophy. This phone call actually serves as a mini telephone interview. Next, I was invited for a 1:1 formal interview with the recruiter at the administration office. (The dress for the next 3 interviews, for men and women, is a conservative business suit...also, men should wear only a light blue or white dress shirt, no facial hair, piercings or tattoos, shoes must be polished). I took a personality test where I ranked, from 1 to 17, which were the most important to least important employment factors to me. I think the key here is to think about if you owned the business, how would you want potential employees to answer. (remember that if it's good for the company, it's good for you!) I also had three essay questions to answer. If I remember correctly, one question asked why did I want to work for the company, another asked what set me apart from the competition and what special skills I possesed and I can't remember the third question. I prepared for all 3 interviews using this site and going over interview questions that people had posted. With 3 interviews, I was probably asked 50 different questions, but I felt prepared. I did my research into the company, etc, Enterprise does 3 interviews because they are really looking for the best candidate for the position. They want someone who is outgoing, confident, eager to learn, interested in learning how the business works, team oriented...yet has a healthy sense of competition, someone who is honest and ethical and someone who is not afraid to work hard for a successful career. I will tell you that I love working for the company, it is an awesome fit for me. They tell you exactly what is expected out of you and the expectations are challenging, but obtainable..I wish that I had applied earlier!

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

In sales, how do you handle the answer "no"?
      Answer question

      Question 2

At work, what is your attitude (thought process) when you have to do something that you really don't want to do? (they aren't asking from an ethical or moral standpoint...just something that you don't necessarily like)

      Application

I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Houston, TX)

      Interview

Smooth and took about 2 weeks to complete. They're really interested in your ability to work in a fast paced environment and your ability to deal with an irate customer. It's a sales job after-all.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about a time you had to overcome adversity. What do you think is the most important part of sales? Why Enterprise?

      Interview

Process was pretty straight forward. Had first interview with the recruiter, second interview was with the area manager, received an offer after via phone. Interviews were at different locations so planning was a little difficult if you don’t know the area.
