The interview process started off with an online applications, which was then quickly followed by a telephone interview. If you passed this stage, you would go on to your branch visit. Prior to the assessment centre, the process is relatively informal and straightforward, providing you possess the basic sales and customer service competencies you might have attained through part-time work whilst studying for your degree. The final stage is the assessment centre, for which I went to Cardiff. The Enterprise staff involved were very friendly and managed to put most of my nerves at ease. The assessment centre consisted of a logistics exercise, two role plays (which weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be), before we had lunch with the assessors. My advice is to stay active in the conversation through lunch because they will be assessing you all day from the moment you walk in. Following lunch, we had a group discussion where our leadership and communication skills were assessed. We then went on to the final interview, which was similar to the interviews I had in previous stages of the recruitment process.
