I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Entrata (Salt Lake City, UT) in Aug 2019
Interview
After applying online, the company sent me a 'HireVue' invitation. While I was not familiar with this technology, I am now. After doing some research, it uses AI to determine 10,000+ variables that the computer will decide whether you can sell or not. After reading about this HireVue, I am shocked that they would use this technology.
Maybe it is sour grapes...but with decades of high level sales under my belt in the same industry, you have to wonder why I was not afforded a personal interview...or even a phone conversation.
I would reach out again to explain to them that I think it is a mistake to use AI to find professional sales talent, but they never called me back.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of questions on how I would handle certain difficult situations with clients. These were insightful questions, and it shows that they are looking for people with integrity...which I guess is good.
