I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Envestnet (Cochin) in May 2021
Interview
There were 2 rounds of interviews after an aptitude test. Technical interview was of easy difficulty. Basic programming concepts like recursion, OOP and some basic SQL queries were asked. Logical puzzles were also included (eg: how to find a fake coin from 8 coins if 7 of them weigh the same and the fake coin is lighter than the genuine coins using a old school balance).
The interview process consisted of four rounds:
1. Coding Test: The first round included three coding questions. The first was relatively easy, while the remaining two were of medium difficulty.
2. Aptitude Test (Cognitive Assessment): This was a time-pressured round with 50 multiple-choice questions testing logical and analytical thinking.
3. Technical Interview: This round covered core computer science topics such as Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), SQL, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), along with two coding problems.
4. HR Interview: The final round was a standard HR discussion covering background, interests, and role-related expectations.
