I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Envision Pharma (London, England) in Aug 2022
Interview
Had 2 main rounds to start with - the HR round and then the technical round with the manager and the QA architect. My profile was picked up from the Hackajob portal on which my salary expectations were clearly laid and also discussed during the first HR round. After I cleared the main technical round, I was told that they would arrange an interview to meet some of the senior folks and QA Lead. Before progressing this, they sent me the split of salary with benefits which were as per my expectations, so I agreed to it.
I was then arranged a further 2 rounds instead of one as some of the folks they wanted me to meet couldn't make it to the interview - which was essentially the 3rd and 4th round. Both the rounds had the same typical questions - Introduce yourself, followed by some general questions on my CV.
Totally unorganised with series of rounds unknown at the start.
I then had a couple of HR rounds for the time zone discussion and my flexibility requirements, etc. Some were with the UK HR and some with the HR in the US. Both the HR's weren't in sync as one agreed to the salary I asked to which the other one totally came back with the new offer - much lower than I expected. I don't understand why she only pitched at the final stage, after they've agreed the salary with the candidate and have wasted their time in multiple non-tech introductory rounds. This was a complete waste of time as the HR had no processes in place and it seemed one tries to override the other.
