I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2009
Interview
Started with an online application, very straightforward. Then took a phone interview. The interviewer was late in calling, and sounded tired. They simply verified the information on my application and asked about my recent employment experience. Next step is a skills assessment which they conveniently scheduled ~1 hour away from my location, despite the fact that there is a large public library not 200 steps from my door. Altogether not impressed.

Q: Tell us about a time you translated complex processes into something more digestible.
Applied online, had a short phone interview, followed by an online test, moderated by a third party, and a final phone interview. It was a long process and took many weeks.

Interview
I had a phone interview about the position and the company as a whole and then performed an online assessment. The phone interview was very helpful and informative, but the assessment felt wholly unrelated to the position as it was described to me.
