I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in June 2015
Interview
I have been talking to them for about two weeks and they have been very quick about things. I first had a phone interview, very relaxed in which they asked me a little about my background and told me about the position. Then I did a skills assessment, which consisted of two parts, a programming section and learning on the fly code. I thought I didn't do too well on it, but I was contacted two days later to have an interview on-site, which I will go to this upcoming week.

Interview
The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
