If you go through the hiring process and consider accepting the position, make sure you get in writing up front (a contract) how many trips you will be taking for the first year. They told me I would be taking a few and I took trips every month to medical conferences and weird parties they throw. They also expect you to sell tickets to the yearly party. You get absolutely nothing for selling the tickets. “Relationship building” for the company. The medical conferences I was forced to go to were over the weekend and they expect the sales people to set up and break down the booths. It was a weird experience to say the least. If I had known what I know now I would have asked questions pertaining to what I just discussed. If they had been honest in the beginning and transparent, I would’ve declined this job without a doubt! I felt as if I was baited and switched, which is exactly how their top sales person runs her sales so I think it’s just a company culture to not be upfront about anything, including the family and church that is what the company actually is.
