I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies in June 2014
Interview
There were three interviews for me. One with the store manager, one with the Account Executive, and the Talent Plus interview. I have heard that different retailers had only two, but with mine, I had an extra.
I applied online as an internal applicant. I did a zoom interview where I had to showcase my Make Up skills (1hr) and then proceeded to the next stage which was a standard interview plus a 3 month business plan (2hrs). I did get the job but the process is so long for something that might not be guaranteed.
3 steps of interview - first interview - a group interview, discussion on sales techniques and then applying highlighter to each other. 2nd stage - traffic stopping and selling on the shop floor- 3rd interview - an interview with the store manager - A very in-depth in interview for a retail job.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies (San Antonio, TX)
Interview
Applied on Indeed, received email to interview with Estée Lauder area manager, the following interview would be with the actual dept store manager (in this case Saks) who made the final hiring decision.
I didn't make it that far; after the initial phone interview I received a rejection letter.
