Initial remote interview (30 minutes). In-person demo lesson, which was attended by far too many adults, including the current teacher! (Confusing for students.) After demo lesson, 3 hours of interviews with variety of staff. Spent hours creating lesson, preparing and differentiating materials and creating slides. Spent money to print materials. Interview required I take a day off work. Despite all of this, they did not have the courtesy, kindness, ETHICS, to contact me -- even with a quick, easy email -- to say they decided to go with someone else. I expected more professional courtesy and basic kindness from a school that espouses so many "values." Feel like I dodged a bullet.
