Phone interview first which went well. I was invited to a in person interview 3 days later. The day before my interview I was asked why wasn't I utilizing my BSN. I explained that I majored in Peds and recently loss a child and that mental I couldn't handle it. She stated her boss looked over my resume and said it didn't make sense that I wasn't using my degree. She then asked me to explain the times and dates that I went to school and the reason again why I didnt want to use my degree. I forgot to email her and got a email a hour before my interview advising that because I didn't email my reasonings they cancelled my interview. I advised her of all the information requested and I explained to her I was no longer interested in the position. Everyday people work jobs thats are not under their degree and its no big deal. I think it is extremely unprofessional the way they handled the whole process. Once I declined further communication she sent me a email stating they went with a different candidate.
