I had a rather unpleasant phone interview experience with Everlywell. I applied via Indeed and got a response quickly. The interviewer was pleasant, but he asked me if I was married and if I had children. Since I am female, and these questions can be used as discrimination against women, I felt rather uncomfortable. (Goes against EEOC)
Additionally, the interviewer asked me over the phone if I would come in the following week for an in-person interview. Then, the week later, they rescinded the offer to come in. All job hunters are rejected at some point and I don't take that personally, but I found it rather odd that they'd specifically tell me during a phone interview that they want me to come in for an in-person interview, keep me waiting, and then change their mind for no apparent reason.
