I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Evite (Glendale, CA) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview was on the phone. The person asked a lot more questions than in other phone call interviews I've had. The person was nice, but also condescending at the same time.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Evite (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2024
Interview
I was contacted by an outside recruiter retained by the Evite team. The initial interview went well as I was clearly a good fit, with 5 years of DT2 experience, and over 10 years of PM and product organization experience. They suggested some resume edits to highlight relevant experience. I was then passed on to their internal HR rep, with whom I had a good conversation. I was then schedule to meet with their President/CPO/CMO (a title that might stand to some as a yellow flag). She was about 8 minutes late to our 30 minute teleconference, and spent the last 5 minutes coordinating a catering delivery for the lunch meeting scheduled on the immediate heels of our appointment. I was told by Evite's HR and the recruiter that I would hear back one way or another within the week. Follow up inquires weeks later went unanswered. Researching both the President and her EVP of Product, both appear strongly oriented towards hiring women in their age cohort as a philosophical principal. Four months after my interview they hired a PM with about 8 years fewer experience than me. She is a woman in their age cohort. I never received a missive declining my candidacy.

I applied online. I interviewed at Evite (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2023
Interview
Lengthy, drawn-out, unprofessional. This company is in dire need of some help. I wish I had read the former employee reviews before wasting 7+ hours of my time interviewing for a company that did not value my time. I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting with the CEO, which I am sorry, for a Site Merch position is COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. CEO did not want a Site Merch position added to the payroll, it was obvious. Overall, I had an ok experience with the SEVEN other people I chatted with. CEO seemed mostly concerned with showing off the tacky modern farmhouse-style office. Wish this company the best.

Question 1
CEO literally asked me…”so how do you do it all? Family, kids, own your own business and carry a full time job?” SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Do you think he would ask that to a male candidate????
