I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Evolution Hospitality in July 2016
Interview
I initially had a phone interview with the regional sales leader that oversees my now hotel in addition to many others and then later met in person with that individual and HR. A week later I met with the head of operations. Very quickly from my phone and in person conversations I felt a great rapport building and knew that I would really enjoy being a part of the culture they had built. While there were some questions about my experience and goals, a lot of the discussion was focused more on who I am as a person and the way that I relate to others. There is definitely a huge focus on work/life balance, a very positive message that we should all strive for. I found the whole process to be extremely efficient and I liked how open everyone was with me in the whole process. Now that I have been a part of this company for a few months now I only feel stronger about my initial decision to join.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was not asked anything too complicated or out of the ordinary, but I did like how the initial questions were focused more on who I was as an individual and my hobbies outside of work before focusing on my experience and goals in the workplace.

Interview
Outdated panel interviews with corporate leaders. It's 2023, time to move on from intimidating panels. Who can really be themselves in front of 5 strangers on camera? The questions were poorly worded, almost in a way to trick you or confuse you. Evolution also conducts about 3 interviews, and does not get back to you if you did not get the job. Poor practice.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Evolution Hospitality (Scottsdale, AZ) in Sept 2018
Interview
The interview process with this company is lengthy. I had a phone interview, an in-person interview, a panel interview and two more phone interviews.
The actual technical questions were pretty basic , but they want to make sure that the candidates are a good fit for the culture of the company as well.
