The company was looking for a part-time contract writer to do work on an ad hoc basis. The job description was incredibly vague as they didn't seem to know what they wanted or needed. The job actually seemed pretty easy to me (as it was presented during the interview) as it would have involved less technical research than I'm used to. Regardless, for whatever reason, they decided to pass. They should work on better defining what they want in their job description so as not to waste people's time when qualified candidates go through the process.
