Eight interview process over 5 weeks. Four over the phone interviews and then four in person interviews. Each phone interview was the same questions, nothing challenging very basic.
In person interview did show inconsistencies in the company future. One leader said they are going into healthcare, one leader said the are looking to acquire more construction software companies. New merged company has dual CEOs. One leader said the site is exceptionally stable and another said they are releasing a notice to customers apologizing for a 5 days ‘soft’ outage. One manager was recently reassigned roles/duties and seemed to lack sales knowledge. First phone interview said it is a ‘expansion of a territory’, in person interview said it was a replacement of an under producing rep.
They have a goal of growth through acquisition. Long term selling it all. Pretty standard.
Communication during the process was good. They did not follow through with a commitment to communicate with in a week. A methodical process. The conclusion or close out was poorly executed. I never heard back from them, I still might be in consideration.
