I applied through other source. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Hong Kong) in Oct 2014
Interview
Expedia is a highly efficient, progressive organisation. Interview process was 7 weeks where I met 7 individuals in 6 interviews via phone, skype & in person. There is no shortage of expectations within this highly charged environment, by the same token, equipped with preparation & confidence, interviews will be (draining but) very comfortable.
I come from an alternate industry, however, Expedia looked into my soft skills, ability to adapt and also (at large) your personality to excel.
I applied online. I interviewed at Expedia Group (London, England) in July 2017
Interview
Bad candidate experience.
The process is long (5 interviews) with multiple different shareholders and very disorganised: they set an interview at 9pm for the day after 9am.
I received different job related information from the job description, HR manager and hiring manager.
I have never been asked any question about my ability to sell or to describe how I would react in a sales situation.
After 5 interviews, the only feedback I got is one sentence via email.
Very disappointing interview process when you see the great reviews on glassdoor. Be ready to potentially experience the same process, being confused, frustrated and accept very last minute interviews.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Bellevue, WA) in Nov 2015
Interview
NDA required - standard process, a couple phone interviews followed by onsite, in person with team you'll be working with. Process can take a while if the team you'll be working with travels.

Question 1
Standard work experience questions. Some scenario and "what-if" questions that were specific to their needs and projects.

Interview
I applied online and was e-mailed within a few days with a request for scheduling a phone interview. After a few e-mail exchanges we settled on a day and time. The time requested was for an hour and a half block which I found excessive however, agreed to. The day and the time agreed upon came and went. I called the recruiter, left a v-mail reminding her of our agreed upon meeting, sent an e-mail and later that day sent a second e-mail asking if we would be rescheduling. I never heard back. I am beyond offended by the lack of courtesy and with the amount of time I wasted waiting for an e-mail, a callback, anything to change my perception of unproffesionalism I experienced from Expedia's business practices. If a candidate was found for this role, why wouldn't that be communicated?! We are adults here- or so I thought. Terrible experience.
