I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ExpertVoice (Bellevue, WA)
Interview
I was contacted by their HR and a phone screen was setup with the VP. The phone screen went well and I was brought on-site for an interview loop with the rest of the team.
I was scheduled to interview with about 5 people, including the VP and the CTO. The first 3 interviews went really well with the devs. But, when it came time to do the design interview with the VP, things went south really fast. He became irritated when I couldn't figure out a particular part of the problem and it made me very uncomfortable. Because of that, I became discouraged and couldn't wait for his session to end. In the end, he became disinterested and started answering texts/emails on his phone. Shortly thereafter, he told me he was the last person I'd be interviewing (even though I still had the CTO to meet but I got the hint) and led me to the door. I was happy to leave early!
I got a call from the HR the following week explaining that she was still waiting to get feedback from everyone but the preliminary response was positive. That was the last time I ever heard from them even after sending a follow-up email.
In the end, I'm glad I wasn't contacted because I would have rejected any offer. After my experience with the VP I knew this would be a toxic environment to work in.
Thank you for this feedback. We truly appreciate your honesty and we are sorry that you had a negative experience. We are working to resolve this and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention as we do greatly value the candidates experience as well as your time.
I applied online. I interviewed at ExpertVoice (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2017
Interview
I saw the job posting in glassdoor. Applied and got an email from the recruiter. The recruiter wanted to schedule a phone call with me. I suggested times and he confirmed to a slot. However, the recruiter didn't call me at all. I dropped him a note, and he replied saying couldn't reach my number then. He rescheduled to another date and we connected this time. There was not a technical phone interview, the recruiter himself was asking some standard CS questions. I answered all of them and he confirmed they were right answers. At the end he said, we will reach back to you, or otherwise thank you for your time. He never called back or dropped a note.

We are currently working to improve our application and interview procedures to ensure this does not happen again as we understand how frustrating the job seeking process can be. Thank you for spending the time to provide us this constructive feedback.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ExpertVoice (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview was very professional. I consisted of an initial phone screen to tell me about the company as well as the position and answer any questions I had. The onsite interview was then scheduled at a time which was convenient for me. Experticity has a very upbeat welcoming environment which was apparent immediately when I arrived for the onsite interview. The onsite interview consisted of visiting with various team members including the IT director, business analyst/project manager and other programmers on the team. They presented the main purposes and strategies of the company to me ask me what my thought were and about some of my ideas. Then I was given the opportunity to ask questions. I then spent sometime being technically interviewed for the position. I was able to show some of the past work I had done. It also consisted of questions to assess my technical knowledge and the demonstrate my technical skill. It was very relaxed and professional. I was also given the opportunity to ask question about the projects they were working on and how they technically approached the challenges. I was then given the opportunity to ask any other questions I had. Overall the interview process was awesome.
