I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Express Employment Professionals (Howell, NJ) in July 2022
Interview
My interviewer was 40 minutes behind, so someone at the desk had me do skill tests (typing alpha-numeric, some simple Excel and Word exercises). When I was done, I was put back into the lobby to wait. 10 minutes later, a different person took me back to the skills test again for 5 minutes before he realized I'd already done it. Back to the lobby for 10 more minutes.
Finally interviewed with my contact 45 minutes after our appt. Basic questions about work history, very surface questions, nothing situational. Then she asked me what my biggest weakness was (is this the 90s??) and I told her I had to be back at work (I lied).

Interview
It was alright but the atmosphere and work culture felt not right - a lot of pressure to do sales, both inside and outside, very low base pay with commission (so highly dependent on sales again). If agency recruiting isn’t for you, then don’t look here
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Express Employment Professionals (Columbia, TN) in June 2025

This is a temp agency. There was Initial paperwork then a formula series of questions with a few that asked for more details, then more time on the computer to fill in more paperwork.
