I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Express (New Hyde Park, NY) in June 2016
Interview
I was just asked the basic interview questions, it was more of a conversation than hiring agent just posing questions and you answering them. The interview took about an hour and was held in the manager's office, it was a 1:1 interview and entirely casual.

Question 1
If faced with a coworker possibly removing store merchandise off the property what would you do?
Everyone lined up around the perimeter of the store. We were asked to come in in batches. Each group had about 10-15 people. They asked general questions about why we want to work there etc and we took turns answering. They took our contact info then we left. The interview itself was about 15 minutes

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Express (Seattle, WA)
Interview
I signed up online and about a week later I was called in for an interview. They do not specify that it was a group interview, although I did expect it due to reading it everywhere online. To no surprise, it was a group interview. The manager seemed extremely casual and the interview was overall pretty basic questions. Make sure to make your ideas heard. Even if you don't have retail experience, relate the questions back to volunteer experience or other such subjects.
