I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Express (Chicago, IL) in June 2014
Interview
It was a group interview, and she basically asked us questions and we went around the table to answer them. She was very nice, and a lot of the people that interviewed with me were around the same age (freshman in college). We had a bit of personal conversations within the interview, but it was still pretty easy. Once it was over, she just gave us a quick tour of the sales floor, and then we were told that we were free to go. I got a call back the week later with an offer, and almost everyone in my group interview was hired.
I first applied online, and then I got an interview date and time, and then I went into the location for the interview. After that I just waited for a little bit of time and then I was sent an offer that I signed
Applied online, interviewed in person the next day. Interview was basically a vibe check. More important to apply during peak season (early spring or early fall) when they're hiring the most. Make sure you have availability on the weekend.
Easy and straight forward interview. They ask for your availability and if have fashion experience. Also, asks about previous sales and customer service experience. The job itself is not hard at all.
