I reached out to Extensis by first contacting HR as I didn't see any positions available at the time but had heard great things about the company's work environment. I was just graduating school on the east coast and so all of the pre-interview communication was done via email. The most frustrating part of the process was actually starting the interview process. It was probably a month from the time a position opened to when I got contacted to start the process with very little communication in between about what was going on. Once the process started however they did a fantastic job of moving me through the whole ordeal painlessly and transparently. Everyone I talked to was refreshingly honest and welcoming. Interview questions were easy general questions about testing and software development lifestyle practices. There was some 'live' coding where I had to solve a problem using whatever language I wanted in 30 minutes. Everyone else who interviews has to do it in person but because I was on the east coast at the time they had this as a work around.
