I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at FAA (Saint Paul, MN) in July 2015
Interview
Through Email and over the phone. It was very straight forward and the question were more about them trying to figure out if I had a clue about the job more than psychoanalytical garbage.
Had an interview through a zoom call it was pretty standard and to the point. The interview lasted roughly 30 minutes and I was asked a series of general questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at FAA in Dec 2022
Interview
Applied for a direct hire position through faa.gov website. Had just a phone interview then got a tenative offer within the week. The hiring process thus far has been slow. I completed my necessary documents within 48 hours of receiving them every time, but still am having to wait weeks. This is going on for 3 weeks and I am still jumping through hoops to receive an official offer and start date.
