      Customer Supply Chain Specialist Interview

      13 Apr 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at FGF Brands (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2016

      Interview

Overall, the recruitment process was exceptional. Upon consideration, I was contacted by the company's Talent Acquisition Specialist via email to set-up a phone conversation which discussed the position, the company, my skill set alignment, and my future career goals. Next, I completed an online behavioural test. After, I was contacted to come in for a 2hr meeting, along with 8 other candidates, which consisted of: refreshments, a company presentation and role overview by the VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, a tour of the office, a Wonderlic assessment (i.e. an aptitude test), and three 5 minute interviews. The employees present during the whole process were friendly, informative, and reassuring. Although I was not selected for the position, I received great feedback regarding the application criteria which was great as I hadn't even asked for it and I don't regularly receive such information from other companies during such recruitment processes. The company sets high standards and recruits the best. (Having recently graduated from a top-tier business school, I felt that I ranked on the lower end among the other 8 candidates in terms of education and skills.) I would highly recommend anyone reading to monitor the job boards at FGF Brands and apply if anything of interest pops up! (If anything, it'll prove to be a great 2hrs providing insight on a growing company.)

      Customer Supply Chain Specialist Interview

      Anonymous employee
      North York, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FGF Brands (North York, ON) in Apr 2016

      Interview

After applying for the position, a phone screening was scheduled where I was given more details about the company and position, and I was asked fairly general phone screening questions. After passing the screen, I was told I would be sent on online personality assessment to be filled out. I would be contacted again based on these results. Passing the personality screen, I was contacted and a group interview was scheduled with myself and 8 other candidates. The formal interview process itself was engaging. A small presentation by one of the VP's, followed by a tour of the facilities. The HR staff was extremely friendly throughout the process, answering questions and offering plenty of refreshments. We then took a 12-minute IQ based test, followed by 3 one-on-one interviews (only 5 to 7 minutes each). I was contacted later on that day to schedule a follow up interview for the next week. Promptly after I received a job offer, and accepted!

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FGF Brands (North York, ON) in Apr 2016

      Interview

I applied through Indeed for this position at FGF brands. I was contacted days after and conducted a 20 minute phone interview and then was sent a McQuaig assessment which covered basic behavioural and personality type questions about how you think others view you and how you view yourself to see if you were a good fit for the company and position. I was then contacted on the Monday to come in Tuesday morning for an interview with 9 other candidates. While there, the VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain gave a great and humorous presentation about the company, snacks were provided, and then we were taken on a tour of the gorgeous building. It was very modern and ascetically pleasing. Then we all had to take a 12 minute wonderlic assessment and then had 3 one-on-one interviews. It was a fun interview process. Although, I did not get offered the position it was a great experience and it was definitely a company I will be sure to apply to again. I received great feedback and even my results from my personality assessment.
