I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FINRA in Aug 2011
Interview
After the initial skills test, the interviewer asked a couple IQ test questions that weren't really IQ test material. They were more math tricks that you learn in class. The ones I were asked my brother in 6th grade knew all of them because they just went over them. It was a pain to answer these over the phone and some I couldn't get even after 15 min despite an IQ over 180...I guess you just have to have come across them before but it was embarrassing after describing your accomplishments listed on your resume, saying yes to the IQ test, and having someone wait on the phone for you to answer. It was an interview to remember to say the least.
